I met Eddie and Dez a couple weeks ago when they were out in Vegas for a car show. Eddie asked me to come out this weekend to help with the Mini event, I had so much fun with them in Vegas, I of course said yes! But it wasn't until I was writting this blog post that i realized how prolific Eddie and the shit she's involved with are. Like read this blurb:
"The shop (Dynamic) has since grown into one of the largest distributing and tuning facilities in the country. The list of former Dynamic employees, cohorts, accomplices, and all-around lackeys reads like a virtual who's who of today's industry leaders. Peep the list: Cosworth's Eric Hsu; A'PEXi USA founder, Toshi Hayama; DSport magazine's Michael Ferrara and Robert Choo; Import Tuner magazine's founder, Ed Eng; Prelude guru, Aries Dionisio; Omni Power's Steve "Omni" Rothenbuehler; Design Craft Fab's Gary Castillo; Sakata Motorsports' Naoto Negishi; and, of course, at least one guy from Honda Tuning mag-the list goes on. Dynamic has been busy tuning some of the top racing teams' vehicles, conducting testing for magazine geeks, and even hosting a big-wig industry executive every now and then for the day. And after 17 years, there's no sign of any of that stopping. You might say that Dynamic is the tuning world's crystal ball. Want a glimpse as to what record might be broken next or who tomorrow's movers and shakers might be? Just look inside the shop." -Honda Tuning Magazine

What an honor to be hanging with people doing such big things! You can also check out their blog Gruppe S Engineering. Stay posted, because this isn't the last with Eddie and Dynamic Autosports!! :)

2009 Detroit Auto Show Recap

Inauguration? Anyways, today is the last day, day three of the oh so important Detroit auto show, and I thought it only imperative that I recap the important details of the show. Below are my favorite four cars:

Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss

Top speed of 217.5-mph, only 75 will be built, and a price tag of 750,000 euros (that’s over a million bucks) it's a car to demand attention. But don't go running out to your local Benz dealer, because a. it won’t be available in the United States, and b. only current SLR owners will be considered. So if you get one, call me.

Fisker Karma S

All you tree huggers will be happy with this pick, eco friendly, and aptly named- Karma. When the Karma goes on sale in November for $87,900, it will be the first mass-produced plug-in electric vehicle sold in the United States. It will accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 5.8 seconds and have a top speed of 125 mph.

Bentley GTC
The sexy ass Bentley GTC goes from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds. Plus, it has a top speed of 200 mph with the top up and 195 mph with the top down. Might want to wear a scarf with that one.

And my lover, I mean favorite car, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4. 'Nough said.

Hot New Concept Cars

At the Paris Motor Show, held every other autumn at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles some hot new cars where debuted. My two favorites were, 2009 Lamborghini Estoque Concept (first two pictures) and the RC HYmotion4 . The Estoque has a 560-horsepower V10 engine and full-time all-wheel drive. The Estoque adds a feature never before found on a Lamborghini — rear doors. All four seats are trimmed in Nappa leather and feature multiple electronic adjustments. The trunk is also pretty big, for a Lambo. It may be four doors, but it's still sexy. My other new car is the Peugeot RC HYmotion4. ‘4’ as in four doors, four seats and four-wheel drive, ‘HY’ as in hybrid. It has a 1.6-liter gasoline engine transversely mounted behind the cockpit and a 70 kW electric motor under the hood, with a total of 313 horsepower in gasoline-plus-electric mode. Not quite a Lambo, but it's still hot. It has a carbon fiber composite skin over an aluminum spaceframe shell making it pretty damn light. Well the show goes on until the 19th, so just hop on a plain and go check it out. Or visit the official website here. Whichever, check out some hot new cars.

My New Car

Finaly, my new car the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport is out! And, don't worry, it only goes 250 mph (well, 225 with the top down, and that's how we ride) so I won't be getting into any trouble. And at the low cost of just over 2 mill, how can I resist. For the rest of you put your deposites down, only 150 will be made!

Sound good to you? Would you trade a sibling in for that sweet ride? Laugh your ass off and read what other's had to say when I asked them:
