Christian Siriano Designs Heels For Payless

I've been waiting since last December when Project Runway 4 winner Christian Siriano first announced plans to debut an accessories line for Payless at Fashion Week. Well, the time is upon us, coming next month the designer will premier his line of Egyptian-inspired footwear (and some bags) that range from $24 to $45.

Siriano said:
“I’m so excited to design and create with such an amazing brand that is all about fashion and trend, but most importantly, is also about affordability. I can’t wait to see how Payless will take the high-end shoes and bags I’m designing for the runway and turn them into pieces that everyone can buy. I’m all about the runway and the sidewalks!”

Though I have to say, I am a little nervous about what he said when asked how the above runway version will be different from the shoes sold in stores. Payless better not old lady them up!! We all know how much I love my 7 inch heels...

"The Payless shoes are definitely modified to make them more wearable, but they are very similar. I designed the runway shoes with Payless, so don’t think that the retail shoes will be inferior in any way. The Payless customer wants an everyday shoe, not something they can wear just once. You can see that the retail shoes are dramatic enough with the color and the details. They don’t need to be 7 inches high for drama. They have enough drama on their own."

None the less, I can't wait! :)

America's Got Talent Premieres Tonight

Well, it's finally here. The premiere of America's Got Talent. I was a model for a contestant, Up Do Queen (you can read my blog post about it here). We got to meet those 3 kids singing in the beginning of the above clip, Nick Cannon, and about half of the other people in that video! But if you ask me, from the acts we heard, the above group Status Quo is going to go the distance! :) Be sure to tune in tonight NBC @ 9/8c to see if our act made it to TV!

Hit That Michael Phelps!

The picture was taken November 6, at a house party at the University Of South Carolina in Columbia. Phelps was allegedly there visiting Jordan Matthews, a student there he was seeing. Read the whole story here.

Jeniffer Anisten Finaly Talks About Jolie

In the December issue of Vogue Jeniffer Anisten finaly says something about that skank Angelina Jolie. Aniston responded to Jolie’s Vanity Fair interview (conducted while Brad Pitt was still married to and living with Jennifer) in which Jolie gushed about how she “couldn’t wait to get to work everyday” on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. In a recent New York Times interview Angelina brought up falling in love with him on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Homewrecker. Here's what Jen had to say in Vogue"

“There was stuff printed there (Jolie's interview with Vanity Fair) that was definitely from a time when I was unaware that it was happening. I felt those details were a little inappropriate to discuss. That stuff about how she couldn’t wait to get to work every day? That was really uncool.”

Hef's GF's Moving On: Girl's Next Door Update

Looks like all three of GND are moving out. The Girls were just three of the seven girlfriends Hef initially had on his arm after his separation from Kimberley Conrad. Kendra's getting married, Holly's getting some magic done, and Bridget is doing some traveling. More detail below:

Kendra Wilkenson got engaged to the Philadelphia Eages' Hank Baskett last weekend atop the Space Needle in Seattle before both families. The couple plan to wed at the Playboy mansion in June.

Holly Madison reportedly told Kendra that she "better be a bridesmaid."

After 7 years of being together Holly Madison also left Hef. "I want to be with somebody I can have more of a future with eventually. Hef and I can't get married and have kids…so it was fun while it lasted but it wasn't right for my old age. I got too old for Hef." She follwed that up with:
"It might be refreshing to date someone who is not high maintenance. Sorry, Hef, you know you're high maintenance." Poor puffin. But it looks like she found that low maintenance guy in Mindfreak's Criss Angel, the former Bunny says, "I'm in love with him." As for Criss and Holly being an "official" couple, Criss said, "We're good friends and we love spending time with each other." And then he added, "Friends with benefits. Yeah!" Nice.

Already forgotten Bridget Marquardt? She is moving on as well. She said “My goal is to be hosting my own show and be happily married with children, so I’ve been thinking about that a lot lately." She is currently out of the mansion and in Europe filming for the Travel Channel's new series called Bridget's Beaches.

Are you feeling bad for the playboy himself? He's already been spotted out with 19 year old Playmate twinsies Karissa and Kristina Shannon. The two (mug shots pictured above) were arrested earlier this year for battery. Nice. The two already live in the mansion, though are not yet "official girlfriends." So don't feel too bad for Hef.

Britney's New Single

Friday Brit's new single, "Womanizer" was premiered by NYC radio station Z100. Check it out here. The single is off Britney's new album Circus, due out December 2nd.. So far the song isn't available for digital download, but rumor has it, it will be available to purchase on Monday.

Scarlett Johansson, 23, and Ryan Reynolds, 31, have been dating since Spring 2007, and engaged for four months. (Reynolds was engaged to singer Alanis Morissette. They split in February 2007 after four years together. Johansson was previously dating Josh Hartnett-just a little back story). Well the couple has finally tied the knot. The two had a small wedding in Reynolds' native Canada yesterday. What a hot couple!

Well, this morning is full of surprises. Lindsey Lohan and Samantha Ronson are, and have been, 'dating for a very long time.' Linds finally confirmed it. Who would have guessed. Another shocker, don't fall out of your chair- Clay Aken is gay. He confessed in today's issue of People Magazine. Apparently his baby's momma Jaymes Foster, a record producer, is just a friend. Man I love when I'm on top of such breaking news.....

Katie Holmes Theatre Debut Last Night

Katie Holmes has made her Broadway debut in Arthur Miller's All My Sons at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. Dustin Hoffman was also present at the plays first preview, which drew a standing ovation from the audience last night. The production - which runs until January 11, also stars John Lithgow and double Oscar-winner Dianne Wiest (loved her in Notes On A Scandel). The play has its official opening on 16 October. -BBC News

Who Is Russell Brand, and how did he score the VMA's?

Who is he and why is HE hosting the VMA’s? Well, Adam Sandler if you want the short answer. The long answer goes as follows. He is a 33 year old British comedian. You may be one of the 5 people that saw “Forgetting Sarah Marshall,” in which case you would recognize him as the drug addicted rock n’ roll musician. If not, then like me, you would have no idea who this emo pant wearing bouffant hair styled tool is. But his story to the VMA is… somewhat interesting.
In his teens he attended several prestigious theatre schools, which he got kicked out of. In his twenty’s he became a popular host for British MTV. Until he got fired on September 12, 2001 when he showed up to work dressed as Osama Bin Laden. Cute.
After that he was treated for his drug addiction at Focus Counseling Services in England and at the Key Stone Center in PA for sex addiction. He then wrote an autobiography titled “My Booky Wook” which he openly discusses his hard* drug addiction ( *katelin’s idea of ‘hard’ is heroin and crack) and sex addiction. I know you’re all going to leave this blog to run off and buy the book, but it’s yet to be published stateside. So read on.
In 2006 Brand reconciled with MTV and came back to host a talk show called “1 Leicester Square.” Enter Adam Sandler. He was a guest on the show and the two apparently hit it off. Sandler started to introduce Brand to the movers and shakers of Hollywood. Including the producer of “Forgetting Sarah Marshall.”
So apparently, MTV wanted Brand to host the VMAs because of his checkered past, “That’s the attraction: he brings danger and unpredictability” quotes the president of MTV Networks. Perhaps it’s his Cinderella story appeal. Celebrity with addiction goes off gets cleaned up and makes miraculous return to fame. Cute.
After the VMA’s keep and eye out for his appropriate role in a family oriented Disney flick “Bedtime Stories” opposite Sandler, coming out on Christmas.

Dr. Dre's Son, HOOD SURGEON, Found Dead

Curtis Young Jr. who was named after his father, was found dead in his bed Saturday by his mother at their home in suburban Woodland Hills. There were no signs of trama. In May 2007 Young released his first album, titled, ironically, "Hood Surgeon: the Autopsy of Curtis Young Young Jr." The cause of death won't likely be determined for eight weeks while toxicology tests are done.
