A Week Out In Portland

Work during the day, raging the hottest clubs in town at night. Special thanks to Robert John at Dirty Nightclub, Tim Batchelor of Batch Foto, Joey of PTL nightlife, Josh of Napkin Nights, and Helen for taking all the amazing pics. xoxox
(Ps you can click on a pic to see it full size :)

Bar XV For Cinco Di Mayo

My favorite party of the week is Wednesday nights at Bar XV IN Night Life hosts and Dj Tj usualy spins

Since I just got back from New York, while there I bought Tash and I matching shirts.

Of course we weren't drinking those bottles. They were just props.

My fav pic of the weekend. Says it all!
(Me, Tash, Kevin, Tj, and Helen)

Ha! I love the crazy look in Helen's eyes!!!

Tash and I. My mullet looks awwweesome.

My favorite pic!!!
Also shows another of silly Helen's faces :)
and duh I'm dancing to Tj spinning Drake's Pursuit of Happiness

Tim took this cute pic of Dirty's Photographer, Robert John.
Then Bar XV

Had to stop in to hear Dj Wicked. Who we went to see the night before at Goodfoot.

Then to Dirty Nightclub

Had to hear the epic Jimmy Z spin in the techno room

Seamless Sundays @ Stars Bridgeport

After a week of parting like Tash and I do, we decided to take it casual. Plus we're gangster so we wear sweats to the club. obviously.

Sundays are always a blast here, Tj spinning techno, and hanging out with The Ninjas :)

So, a proper recap of my favorite and the hottest clubs in Portland. For only being here five months, I am so thankful to all the friends I've made here.

Friday Night At The Nines, And Studio 1

My brother and I's friend Dani came up from Eugene last Friday for her birthday. Well the hottest spot on a Friday in Portland is Studio 1 because Dj Tj plays there! So the ladies got a room at the Nines, and stayed the night to party with T.I.P. (aka my brother and I)

The ladies in their room toasting with an amazing bottle of champagne my brother bought

Before we headed to the club, we got a bite to eat at The Nine's posh restaurant, Urban Farmer.

Me and some of the girls at dinner

My brother and I's friends at IN Nightlife pulled out all the stops for us once we got to Studio One! They comped us admission, we didn't have to wait in line, got us VIP tables right next to the Dj booth, a bottle of champagne, shots, etc!! If you want to party in Portland, these are the guys to do it with! Much love to Ty, Dusty, and Mayo, thanks for making it such a great night! :D

The crowd on the top floor.

Below, Portland's greatest Dj, Dj Tj and the birthday girl. As always he played back to back hits all night, including my brother and I's favorite song, 1980 by Dirt Nasty (See above video)!!! Thank you again! :D

My Going Away Party @ JET

Video I took in the club. Just watch the first 25 sec of it. The rest is me leaving the camera on like a tool. Meh.

Barry and I. Party on the reg.
Roomates, Lois and Ben
Holla.
Me and my girl Lois xoxox
Me and awesome Vegas DJ, DJ Silence
Adam, get the fuck out of the way :)
Me and best DJ on the west coast, DJ Alpyne
International sign of save me.
Uh-Oh, you know it's on when Patron shots start happening. Pretty sure Adam puked his brains out shortly after this.....so awesome.
Holla.
(you can click on the pictures to see them bigger, and you can check out Adam's blog to see tons more pics too :)

Honestly, one of my favorite nights in Vegas!! Thank god there were no pictures taken after the Patron shots... would have been bad. After the B team all pussed out and left JET at about 2am, Barry, new roomate Jon, and I, began the real adventure. I'm pretty sure it entailed many more drinks, the club Rockhouse, me dancing in a cage, the casino O Sheas, $100s in blackjack, and at one point Barry telling a guy he would swap me for the guys girlfriend. Awesome. Finally ended at 10am with breakfast in my sweatpants with roomate Mike. Epic parting, and complete awesomeness. Fuck I'm going to miss Vegas.

Roomate's Going Away Party At Foundation Room With Epic DJ Alpyne

Me and Scottish roomate Barry
Sooo awesome, we saw this fireplace and had to take a corny pic with it!!
Not sure if we look like a lame couple or brother and sister.
Me on my phone laughing at The Van Wildest.
Texting? No way!!
Oh shit, it's a pic with me and my phone LOL!!
Cuteness.
Me and the epic DJ Alpyne and Van Wildest Himself!
Me and the roomate that moved out Dan
Me and the man. The $100 was for me for last night.
Me and my love and fellow roomie Lois
Blame it on the a-a-a-alcohol ;)
Of course Adam got me in the Game Of Life.
Ended the night @ Blueberry Hill, breakfast at 4am on the reg.

It was Dan (fellow roommate's) last night in Vegas, so we went to Mandalay Bay's gorgeous Foundation Room for his going away party. Check out Adam's blog for tons more pics too! It's a lovely, cozy lounge and we had a great time drinking bottles, and parting to the fat beats of the best DJ in Vegas, and probably earth, DJ Alpyne. Who is also a fellow Oregonian! I am begging him to play in Portland next week when I moved back on the 1st, so stay posted for that!! Anywho, super fun night out with the roomies, going to miss Vegas... but there's still 7 days left, the party isn't over yet ;)

Best Events Going On In DC This Weekend!

THURSDAY

Come out tonight and get your cheerleader on! Celebrate with the launch of the 2009/2010 Redskins-cheerleader calendar at Public Bar. Cheerleaders will participate in a fashion show, and there’ll be drink specials. $10 gets you in, and another ten bucks will get you a calendar. Maybe they can sign it with their ass for you. Meh, worth an ask.

If cheerleaders aren't your thing, maybe zombies are. Go out and get your zombie on at Black Cat with AHHHHH, Zombies! in the Red Room. Enjoy zombie drink specials (human blood?) and free zombie movies, hopefully like the gem above, starting at 8 PM tonight.

FRIDAY

Looking for something free to do? The Freer Gallery will screen All About Women Friday at 7 and Sunday at 2. The movie, part of the gallery’s Made in Hong Kong Film Festival, chronicles three modern women chasing love. Free tickets, which are distributed two hours before the show or reserved in advance online (for a small fee), are required.

Enjoy a laid-back Friday evening in the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden with Dixie Power Trio, a Fredericksburg jazz group. The free concert starts at 5 PM.

SATURDAY

For you tennis junkies (is there such a thing?!) watch some high-quality tennis when the Legg Mason Tennis Classic kicks off Saturday. Ten bucks gets you into the first qualifying round.

Saturday night the Black Cat is holding a benefit concert with Run For Cover. Lucky for you, helping out is easy with a great lineup of local bands playing covers of some of their favorite artists. The show starts at 9 and costs $10.

Pick up some cool stuff at DC9’s Binge and Purge rummage sale Saturday starting at 2. Stay for one of Washington’s best dance nights, called Kids. Entry is free before 10, with free forties. Yeah, you read that correctly. They run this shit classy. Cover is $6 after 10.

For those of you a little more fashionable, check out Trios at the Community Life Center located at 825 Yale Avenue Baltimore, Maryland 21229. Doors open at 5:30pm/Show starts at 6:30pm. Tickets available online at www.teroncestyyles.com/events.

And don't forget Saturday's at the Corcoran is FREE, and the Eggleston exhibit is ahhhmazing!
