A Day In The Life

A day in the life. Wednesday April 7, 2010:

Breakfast at a local cafe in SE Portland, Twighlight.




Then it's off to work at the tanning salon




Lunch time! If you know me, you'd know my obsession with energy drinks and candy bars



The highlight of my day at the tanning salon is when people think this window is a one way window and don't put the blinds down. Awesome.



Sushi for dinner YUM! :D



Then it was off to Downtown with Tash!



First stop in Downtown: Voo Doo Doughnuts, to pick up some doughnuts for my favorite Portland partiers



First delivery was to Dirty Nightclub to visit Danny and Portlands best bartender Josh. We even stayed to help make decorations for next week's blacklight party.

Last stop was to visit the IN crew at Bar XV, and to relax and listen to the epic Dj Tj. We ended up shutting down the bar, and was lucky enough to see this exclusive performance by Tj at about 2am infront of about 5 of us lucky few. Check it out:

Extreme Underwater Ironing

Originally pioneered by a group of Germans, Extreme Underwater Ironing it's the act of taking an ironing board and electric iron (minus the electricity) setting it all up, and taking photos to prove it. Though don't think you're going to just go snap some pics and call it a day. Oh no, be sure to abide by the Official Guidelines. And I've heard a bit of cross dressing has made the attempt more entertaining.... The Official Oceania Extreme Underwater Ironing record now stands at 70 ironers and was set by a Victorian Dive club in a pool.... Really? Really? Come on.

Random Info

Just found out who is opening for Atmosphere's Paint The Nation Tour! Abstract Rude, Blueprint, and DJ Rare Groove. So I listened to some samples and they all have a hip hop vibe. Abstract Rude sounded good, but I don't know about Blueprint. Whatever, sooo excited! If you didn't catch the world premiere of Kanye West's new video for Love Lockdown on Ellen yesterday, you can watch it here. He said he channeled American Psycho for the video... what do you think about it?
