America's Got Talent Premieres Tonight

Well, it's finally here. The premiere of America's Got Talent. I was a model for a contestant, Up Do Queen (you can read my blog post about it here). We got to meet those 3 kids singing in the beginning of the above clip, Nick Cannon, and about half of the other people in that video! But if you ask me, from the acts we heard, the above group Status Quo is going to go the distance! :) Be sure to tune in tonight NBC @ 9/8c to see if our act made it to TV!

America's Got Talent Recap

Status Quo from America's Best Dance Crew!!

The totally fabulous Devon and I
Me in my favorite place with my favorite accessory- a Long Island ice tea :)

Me being sassy, what's new.
Back shot of my amazing up do!

So sorry for not keeping up lately, the last couple days were crazy, I was in NY filming for FOX's America's Got Talent. The wildly talented Devon who, I would say, is a hair sculptor, not just a hair stylist asked me to be one of her 4 models for the show. Keep an eye on this girl, she is amazing! Due to contracts we all had to sign, I can't disclose much about the actual taping of the show, but the whole experience was nutty. We got the meet Nick Cannon the shows new host, The Hoff, Sharon Osborne and the true D Bag himself, Pierce. My favorite acts were The Divas, Statues Quo, and multi talented Zach Winningham (google him). Those are 3 groups, regardless of the show are going far! It was a great experience and I am so thankful I got to meet so many talented people. Stay tuned in June to see it!

Coco Chanel Movie

Shirley McLaine stars in true story of the fabulous life of Ms. Chanel, one of the most revolutionary artists of all time. Tune in to Lifetime for reruns of this fabulous love and fashion story.

Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel (b.1883 - d.1971)

She learned to sew at a Catholics monasary were she spent seven years in her youth. She paved the notion that women should be comfortable, and dress for themselves, not their men and she began with hats! She was the inventor of the Chanel suit, a knee length skirt with boxy jacket, the little black dress (which began as a strapless, backless number!) and was premiered at Playboy’s 3rd edition of the magazine. Coco Chanel revolutionized haute couture fashion by replacing the traditional corseted silhouette with the comfort of simple suits and long, lean dresses. We can also thank her for super soft jersey becoming trendy, and being an icon of the flapper revolution. Karl Lagerfeld is, since 1983, the art director of Chanel. But of course Chanel is most world renowned for it’s Chanel No 5 perfume. Ironic that Chanel became synonymous with elegance, wealth, and elitism, as well as the ultimate sign of French high class when the originator came from an orphanage. Cinderella story at it’s finest. Nice.
