My New Favorite Blog

Some of you may know I have a list to the right of my favorite blogs. It's a tough cut to make but I've just added one more blog, rounding it out to a nice four of the funniest and/or best of the best. The newest member of my VIP list is Matthew Gibson who is almost like a funnier, cleaner version of me. And obviously takes a better picture. So be sure to follow this fellow blogger at www.mathewgibson.com

Oh my god, this moment is so much bigger than me.

Thank you. I am so honored.

A huge part of my life is shameless and vein attempts to get people to like me. So, to be here at this moment and be acknowledged as the first... well fourth I guess... to receive this honor is beyond expression in words for me.

'I am a human being, nothing human is alien to me.' Terence said that in 154 B.C. and when I first read that a few minutes ago in one of Oprah's Emmy Acceptance speeches, I had no idea of the depth of that meaning. I still totally don't.

I want to thank Katelin for choosing me to be the vessel from which this blessing might flow. Thank you.

I want to thank Philip Roman, my friend of a dozen years, for convincing me to create a blogspot page. Thank you ROMAN!

I want to thank all the dumbass, brainless customers who fuel my bitterness on a daily basis and provide me so much material. Fuck you all.

I want to thank middle school for creating a repressed, sad man with communication issues who has to constantly resort to going online to bitch about things.

I want to thank God.

I want to thank my mom.

I want to thank the Academy.

I want to thank my hands. You guys have always been there for me. Both of you crazy bastards!

And I want to thank my beautiful children. And by children I mean sperms.

The greatest pain in life is to be invisible. What I've learned is that we all just want to be heard. And I thank all the people who continue to read my incessant whining. By ranting nonsensically online, you let other people see themselves and for a moment, glimpse the power to change and the power to triumph.

Maya Angelou said, "When you learn, teach. When you get, give. When someone is a dick to you, FUCK them online!"

THANK YOU SO MUCH!
